About Us

We are a full-service stationery studio focused on wedding and special event design.

Modern and minimal, floral and romantic, elegant and traditional - we do it all. If you're looking for a boutique experience with a stationer who cares - you've come to the right place.

Hi! I'm Chelsey.

I started Hudson Paperie six years ago when I realized that wedding design was more than just

an interest.  It still amazes me sometimes that I actually made a career out of my passion.

I love connecting with people to create something special and memorable.

I live in Maplewood, NJ with my incredible wife, sweet son, and mildly neurotic pup.  When I'm not designing, you can find me enjoying good food and even better wine, or running around after my toddler - sometimes all at the same time.

Hi! I’m Carly.

I started as a client and loved the stationery process so much that I came back to join the team. I’ve done everything from tying ribbons, to copy editing and managing our social media. Now, I mainly focus on chatting through all of your details to learn how we can best help bring your pretty paper dreams to life!

I live in Westchester, NY with my loving husband, sweet son, and overly friendly pup. Aside from Hudson Paperie fan girling, I’m a sucker for watching Survivor, tickle fests with my sweet little guy, and sipping on chai lattes.

The Team

Our History

It all started in 2015 with a brick and mortar stationery & gift shop in Hoboken, NJ.  Over time, we evolved into a bespoke design studio focused on bringing life to weddings and special events.  We've moved a couple of times in the last year and a half (thanks alot, global pandemic), but in the end it made us take a deeper look at our business and do things better.  Today, we work primarily out of a home studio in Maplewood, NJ though we hope to soon return to the city where it all began.
